Voodoo Buwan: Another day, another mad idea of things to investigate gone horribly horribly wrong

Voodoo Buwan: Exactly. So anyway, Trinster and I decided that with all the problems going on with teleporting in SL, we would investigate the alternatives. There are two other options other than just grabbing an lm, and tping off.... You either get their under your own steam, or unpack a vehicle, and let it take the strain.
Trinity Dechou: Mad foolish people that we are, but anything in the name of science
Voodoo Buwan: So we thought.... let's see what will get you there first...
Trinity Dechou: My able bodied flying avator or his HUGE spaceship. You know boys and thier toys.... also found it interesting i was the one flying.... no cool toys for me.....
Voodoo Buwan: Of course, using man logic, if you're gonna use a vehicle, you may as well use a BIG vehicle
Trinity Dechou: The kind that needs a 10 sim radius as a turning circle.....
Voodoo Buwan: So, I contacted my sl nephew, Trunks66, who sorted me out with a very large spaceship (It has it's own living quarters) (and toilet)

Trinity Dechou: Off we went to the Enchanted Realm, on the mainland to start our race..... (thank you for the use of your roof Tress). He rezzed his huge toilet.... sorry spacecraft and I choose a destination 6 sims away as our finishing point..... Would u like to tell our readers about your ship in more detail? the fitted guidance.... etc?
Voodoo Buwan: well... the guidance wasn't fitted... tagged the destination in map, so I could follow the magic red arrow
Trinity Dechou: WHAT? you mean u actually looked at the map?
Voodoo Buwan: YES.... some men ARE able. I just can't ask for directions or turn around if I make a wrong turn
Trinity Dechou: You're supposed to 'get inside your map'
Voodoo Buwan: aaaaaanyway. Both ready, (and Trin without flight enchancement), I shouted GO and off we went...
Trinity Dechou: yeah thats no fair... he had something the size of the enterprise and i had to take my boost off
Voodoo Buwan: No vehicles, that was the agreement, that includes enhancements
Trinity Dechou: No that was YOUR agreement
Voodoo Buwan: Trin took off, and shot off into the distance
Trinity Dechou: Stopping to get directions, get a coffee and look at my map
Voodoo Buwan: The ship took off, slowly, and started to leave the realm, gathering speed. Then..... disaster struck. I hit two things. Firstly, I hit a sim barrier, which caused some expected chaos to the ship itself
Trinity Dechou: We sent langley a memo, they are not overly worried
Voodoo Buwan: Unfortunately, the other side of the barrier, was a parcel of land that did not allow prims in. The combination of these two, threw me through the windshield, and to the ground below and left the ship stuck straddling the two sims, unable to move. No matter how I tried.

Trinity Dechou: oblivious to all this i was soaring high and fast towards my destination.... my sat nav was saying turn left in 100 metres and here i was.... "you have reached your destination". Then the dreaded IM saying that he was lost um sorry i mean stuck

Voodoo Buwan: and not only was I stuck... but the ship had to be taken back piece by piece by piece by bloody piece and couldn't even select large amounts, as if they fell in more than one sim, I couldn't reclaim at once
Trinity Dechou: My celebratory dance was lost... i was the only one there!
Voodoo Buwan: So, in conclusion... when tp is down, remember... there's a reason why avatars can fly WITHOUT the aid of a massive flying spaceship (it was a really cool ship though)
Trinity Dechou: it made it about 20 metres
Voodoo Buwan: Damn, missed a bit!
